Community Care Day

Meet us in the Vestal Community Garden for a morning of working together to clean up our school grounds and build community together. Bring gardening tools, water bottles, coffee cups and your can-do spirit. We’ll have water, coffee, and light refreshments, and all the good vibes.

Made possible by Depave and the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership, and supported by the PTA,
this project replaces asphalt with trees, native gardens, seating areas, a willow tunnel and more.

We’ll be making way for a whole new outdoor space where students can learn, explore, and thrive.

The project has begun! Depave, Vestal families, and community members came together to start removing pavement on Saturday June 21st. Check the in-process pics below!
