What is the PTA?

The Vestal PTA provides support and community building for Vestal families and staff. Our contributions include:

• Providing funding and resources for teacher projects and urgent needs for students and community members. 

• Collaborating with Vestal community partners such as SUN (Schools Uniting Neighborhoods) & Grow Portland on various projects and events throughout the school year. 

• Organizing and hosting community building events. Past & current events include the Winter Bazaar, Family Movie Nights, Pancake Breakfasts, and our Social Justice Celebration.

How can I stay connected and get involved?

• Attend monthly meetings when you can.

• Follow the Vestal Elementary PTA on Facebook and Instagram.

• Subscribed to the Vestal Elementary PTA newsletter

• Sign up for volunteer opportunities.

Do I have to pay member dues to participate in events

No. You are welcome to formally join via the Oregon PTA or by contacting the Vestal PTA, but this is not required to participate in PTA events. We would love for you to participate in whatever way you can!
